Aims and scope
The Revista Cubana de Ciencias Sociales (RCCS) is a serial publication, ISSN 0138-6425, that publishes original and unpublished works that are not simultaneously published in other journals or editorial bodies in the form of: articles, dossiers, saved pages, reviews, interviews, photos and recent books.
Its objective is to contribute to expanding the humanist, decolonial and critical essence of the social sciences in our country, with the capacity to transcend limits and open new perspectives, given its dialogic nature. It assumes a wide thematic spectrum of content related to social and historical criticism of thought.
Aimed at professionals, researchers, teachers and students of the various branches of Social Sciences and is accessible to a general public.
From research on contemporary processes in Cuba: feminism, cooperativism as a form of management, social movements and the symbolic production of power; to essays that revisit classical thought with a renewing spirit, research that analyzes historical periods of national thought, or texts that constitute valuable contributions to the recognition of our Latin American and Caribbean identity.
