Editorial filosofi@.cu
Since its creation, the fundamental purpose of the editorial filosofi@.cu is to circulate research and essays among the reading public that contribute to expanding the humanist, decolonial and critical essence of the Social Sciences in our country. The incidence and scope of a publication must not be measured solely by its explicit presence in a physical space (book fairs, events, congresses, workshops). On the contrary, we believe that the strength of a text must be perceived in its dialogic nature, its ability to transcend limits and open up new perspectives. This certainty guides the work that we carry out fundamentally in two collections. At Hypothesis we have published brief investigations on the reception and influence of various contemporary processes in our country: feminism, cooperatives as a form of management, social movements and the symbolic production of power. Until now, essays and research on more extemporaneous topics have been concentrated in Critical Thinking. In this collection, the reader will be able to find essays that revisit classical thought with a spirit of renewal, research that analyzes historical periods of national thought, or texts that constitute valuable contributions in the recognition of our Latin American and Caribbean identity.
